Good News for Developers and other Geeks
Our tech team created a public repository with Github.com where we have enabled different payment modules to connect with popular shopping carts and our CertoDirect payment gateway.
We have two readymade payment modules in the repository: the Virtuemart payment module and the osCommerce payment module.
Both modules are widely popular among our merchants.
Developers are more than welcome to add own payment modules and edit any current modules in our repository.

Failsafe Payments have decided to shut down Failsafe Payments North America to be able to consolidate and streamline all internal administration procedures and increase the level of our external communication with our merchants and resellers.
We will also look into establishing ourselves in emerging markets.
John Williams, Amanda Williams and Maurice Paolino have no legal authority to represent Failsafe Payments in any way and have been relieved from their employment with Failsafe Payments North America by Failsafe Payments Europe Ltd.
If you have any questions in regards to the above please contact us immediately and we will address your questions or concerns.
Ahhh…..Time for updates again………
The main thing we have implemented now is a rebilling interface where our merchants can enable a recurring cycle on a specific transaction and the payment gateway does the rest.
The payment gateway can now control rebills on the merchants behalf.
Isn’t that a cool feature?
We have also done some more stuff.
Not as cool as the rebills but still important and very helpful features for our merchants;
- Improvement of our encrypted server to process 240 requests per second
- CertoDirect added as a payment gateway in CertoConnect
- Clarified our e-check statuses. Now “Accepted” means exactly that. “Batched” means that we still hold the batch and have not sent it to the bank for processing yet
We told you that the last updates were pretty boring stuff but if you actually read them you see that they are very helpful for you as a merchant.
CertoConnect also have some updates. Please see the updates here
Back to the drawing table……….
Our designers are working hard to get our new website design and content up and running.
We have completed the general design and we are now working on the inner pages along with a new structure to simplify the understanding of our product range and what each product can do.
The info on Failsafe Payments new and exciting product portfolio will be released shortly while CertoConnect have already been released (Version 1)
We have received an overwhelming positive response to our CertoConnect e-payment platform that we have decided to extend the free usage period until January, 2012!
Thanks to all the positive feed back we have received from the users of CertoConnect.
We at Failsafe Payments hope you enjoy your Easter Holidays.
Failsafe Payments takes no rest.
We are working on CertoConnect during Easter.
We were working hard on the performance and stability for CertoDirect stability
This update includes not only visible changes but also invisible ones.
We are not sure that our merchants measure how long time it takes to process the transactions until the merchant notice that it is “slow” but regardless, we try to increased the speed of processing the transactions continuously.
In this update we changed to Ruby from MRI to REE.
We also have added more servers for DelayJob and Redis.
We hope that you will enjoy our improvements because they are really for your benefit
We added some charts to show month/week/day volume amounts for a shop on the merchant’s dashboard:

The feature should help you to monitor sales much easier and with better overview.
We also changed how the test mode works.
Now you no longer need to ask our technical team to enable or disable the test mode for you.
If you send an XML request to process order with <test>true</test> and use test data then your transaction will be processed by our test acquirer.
So now you can manage the test mode yourself.
Here are some more details about the test mode and the test data.
We have released our first version of CertoConnect.
